Poem 4. Slave to My Phone !! On World Mental Health Day.

First you taught me how to type!
Now you want me to I forget it all ?
A day without, my phone, my tablet?
How would I kill my time & all ?

All these gadgets & these devices,
now they have me in their clutch..
Drop them, don’t use them
Is it not asking too much?

It confuses me to the core,
A day without my tablet, my phone?
All my mates have logged in & waiting
And I don’t want to be left alone.

Ironic but true,
I can’t handle people in person,
Insta, tweeter, telegram & tinder
That’s where I jam better.

Don’t put me on detention,
Those days are gone..
Socially connected, is my identity
Can’t socialize outside my PHONE!!
